The Elite Asteroid series is designed for bowlers that are developing a hook. Compared to Plastic, Reactive coverstock technology increases traction and hooking action in the oil, and Reactive coverstocks can be sanded or shined to create large differences in hook potential. Reactive coverstocks also respond more aggressively to dry lane surfaces than Urethane coverstocks, increasing backend hooking action and hitting power.

More than worth it

This ball is well worth the price. I now have a reactive ball and it didn't cost much at all.

Slow speed answer

I needed a ball that I could control since I throw the ball fairly slow and hook it quite a bit. Most balls hook too much for me. The Elite Asteroid allowed me to use a reactive resin without fear of an uncontrollable reaction. Finally, a reactive resin ball for people who throw it slow. Like me. Thank you Elite.
